Where are your product made?

JHD products are proudly Kiwi-made. Every single item is made in my studio in Wellington, New Zealand. 

What are JHD products made of?

JHD jewellery products are made from Rimu, which is a beautiful NZ native wood, renowned for its beautiful reddy colour. It is very strong and durable. Rimu is then mounted onto MDF which gives it a beautiful solid base. I paint with Resene paints which are waterproof, washable and wipeable.

I use 925 silver plated hooks and 316L surgical stainless steel. They are 100% hypoallergenic, nickel and lead free.

How do I care for my product?

Please keep your product dry. A gentle wipe to the wood with a damp cloth will remove any marks. No swimming or showering with your product on.

Do you have any guarantees? 

We have a 6-month guarantee on the quality of our products. If you are unhappy with the quality, I will replace the item immediately, or I will give you a credit to use on the website to equal value once the product has been returned to me. You’ll need to email me with a picture in the first instance. 

What about refunds/exchanges?

I do not offer refunds or cancellations of an order on a change of mind, so please choose carefully before placing your order. 

You may however exchange a brand new unused item. Please email me with your order # to get more info.

I lost one of my earrings, can I order just one?
