The amount of $29.00 is payable now to secure your spot. Please bring the remaining fee in a named envelope on the morning of the class.
*Note: this is a follow-on class for children who have previously attended a class with me.

Monday 2 October, 9am-12pm
This is a ONE-morning workshop. Glazing/colour options will be given to the children, and I will complete this for them.
Ages:
8-13 year olds (Primary & Intermediate children).
Venue: Julia’s studio, Pukerua Bay, Wellington.
Class outline:
SLAB -Learn the art of slab, and make a mug or planter.
COILS - Learn the technique of coiling, and make a platter or ornament.
Xmas decorations.
Children will make 2-4 items depending on the complexity of their project choice.
Includes:
1. Tuition - small classes max 8 children.
2. Clay (up to 1kg each)
3. Glazing (done by me after class)
4. Bisque Firing (done by me after class)
5. Glaze Firing (done by me after class)
6. Use of all tools and equipment.
Items will be able to be picked up approximately 5 weeks after the workshop once they have been fired and glazed.
Your child will receive an achievement certificate for completing the Level 2 class.
About me!
I've been running JHD for over 11 years now, and I’ve been pottering around for about 3 years, Pottery has become a hobby, and pretty much an obsession! I love teaching children about clay in the comfort of my home studio space. I believe in nurturing creativity, and helping others express themselves through art and creation. These classes are suitable for all children, of all abilities, and will hopefully open a whole new world of fun, creativity, and passion for them! If they love the class, they can attend a follow-on class – more classes will be added as things progress.
Refunds and cancellations
The $29 deposit is non-refundable if you are unable to make the class.
